The 19th century Kings Arms Inn at Portesham is situated by the World Heritage Jurassic Coast between Weymouth and Bridport and only a short walk from Abbotsbury. The area is a haven for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and artists all year round. Our comfortable accomodation gives a choice of twin bedded or double rooms and larger family rooms sleeping up to 5 people. All rooms have Digital TV and hospitality trays. All rates include a full english breakfast.

Lavender Cottage is situated amidst superb walking country in the village of Portesham, close to Abbotsbury with its swannery and sub-tropical gardens. It's a 5 minute drive from Chesil Beach and ideal for birdwatchers. We have one double and one twin room with a bathroom shared between them. Each has TV, hospitality tray, clock radio and washbasin. We provide a hearty English breakfast. Guests have a front door key. There is ample parking. There are several pubs around serving food, including Portesham. Our tariff is £22.50 per person. English Tourism CouncilA Period stone house, formerly a village inn, in the heart of a small Dorset village, two miles from the sea and the Jurassic Coast. We are opposite the village duck pond and the little stream that runs down the hill towards the sea. We have two letting bedrooms, one twin and one double, both are spacious and furnished with quality furnishings, comfortable beds and hospitality trays. They share a large airy bathroom with bath and shower over. Our guests have their own sitting and dining rooms. The sitting room has TV and video. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am and it is a breakfast to remember! From £25 pppn. Rating: ETC 4 diamonds.
